Pilau

Like Chapatis, pilau is a foreign food to most families in rural areas, yet it is the delicacy that everybody wants especially during functions. There are very few people who can make a good pilau the way it was meant to be made. Throwing some pilau masala into rice does not make a pilau.

There are a few women who are sought after to make pilau whenever there are functions. A young person can train with those women, perfect the skill, and turn it into a business venture. Take samples around and advertise on social media. With a delicious aromatic pilau, you may be the person who turns pilau into a mainstream dish for majority of families in your neighborhood, instead of waiting to eat it at weddings only.

If a number of families ordered Pilau from you once a week, you supplied hotels and kiosks a few times a week, organizations and individuals contracted you to make Pilau for their functions every now and then, you are already a business success.
