Pioneer Parent’s Step of Faith

Today, I celebrate all the Pioneer Parents and tip my hat to them. They blazed the trail for us, so we could see our way forward clearer than they did.

They started out not knowing what to expect, not knowing how they were going to achieve their dreams, but they took a gigantic step of faith anyway. Their faith paid off. They all succeeded. I know they succeeded because none of them lost their farms, meaning they repaid their hefty loans and reclaimed their land Title Deeds from the government.

The Bible sums it up like this in Hebrews 11:1 “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen”. Our parents were not gamblers. They were young couples with young children with nothing but a dream. They knew where they were coming from, but they had no idea where they were going, but, they took the step anyhow.

Today, whether we acknowledge it or not, we stand on the broad shoulders of those giants of faith. We may not have seen them wielding their Bibles in public or heard them speaking in tongues, but they demonstrated their Faith fully with their deeds. It cannot get clearer than that.
